Le Dour Festival est un festival européen de musiques alternatives se déroulant chaque été dans la ville de Dour en Belgique, sur le site de la Machine à Feu, près de la frontière française. Il fête en 2008 sa vingtième édition.

Le festival affiche complet pour la première fois en 2005 avec une fréquentation de 128 000 personnes sur les quatre jours. En 2006, 134 000 personnes s'y rendent. L’événement affiche complet en 2007 plusieurs jours avant son ouverture : 144 000 festivaliers sur la durée du festival. Parmi ces festivaliers, 32 000 ont dormi au camping avec un record d'affluence de 23 000 personnes arrivées la veille de l'ouverture. Pour la première fois, les organisateurs ont été contraints de refuser plus de 15 000 festivaliers chaque jour. Dour est le leader des festivals en Communauté française de Belgique en terme de visiteurs.

Chaque année le festival propose une programmation différente et internationale (28 nationalités différentes en 2007). Il est ouvert à tous les genres musicaux : pop, house, punk, hardcore, rock, post-rock, hip-hop, metal, indus, drum'n'bass, electro, R&B, reggae, ska, noise, Indie Rock ou techno. Plus de 220 groupes et DJ’s se produisent sur l’une de ses six scènes. Celles-ci sont réparties sur le site (2 en plein air et 4 chapiteaux), aux sonorités et aspects propres à chacune d'entre-elles. Celles-ci s'animent chaque matin de 11 h jusqu'à 5 h.

Le Dour Festival accueille depuis 3 ans un village associatif : espace d'information et de sensibilisation aux causes ancrées dans l'actualité que défendent les associations altermondialistes et les ONG.
