Kristen Nygaard (27 août 1926 - 10 août 2002) était un mathématicien et informaticien norvégien, expert en langages de programmation informatiques et homme politique.
Il a notamment contribué à développer le premier langage orienté objet, Simula, avec Ole-Johan Dahl, ce qui leur a valu d'obtenir le Prix Turing en 2001.
