High Voltage est le premier album du groupe AC/DC. Cet album est sorti le 17 février 1975 en Australie. Une version sera publiée en 1976 pour l'Europe et les États-Unis reprenant leur deux premiers albums (High Voltage et T.N.T.).

Le solo exécuté sur It's a long way to the top est obtenu par une guitare "overdriven" excitée par l'évent du caisson de basse d'une enceinte de la sono ; le timbre "bagpipe" est saisissant. Pour le clip, là de véritables cornemuses ont été rajoutées...
