The drawing represents the cosmic tree or the axis mundi, the universal divine spirit that pervades all the existing things and worlds. It is readable both as the Heathen concept and the Wiccan one. The Wiccan perspective identifies it with the Dryghten, the ancestral principle of the cosmos, constituted by the interaction of the two forces of the God and the Goddess. |
