Timothy Treadwell was one hell of a marvelous and courageous human being. I knew him for over a decade. I followed and supported his work and I enjoyed his company. I had my disagreements with him and he with me but the bottom line was we were friends and we had a mutual love for nature and for the creatures of the wild. Timothy was a vegetarian. I wonder how many of his critics eat the flesh of animals as they lament the two bears that were killed by the troopers?
