Ticon est un duo suédois créé en 1999 par Filip Mårdberg et Fredrik Gilenholt. Leur musique correspond au genre trance (trance psychédélique ainsi que trance progressive).
Quatre albums existent à ce jour :
- Rewind (2001, trance)
- Aero (2003, psytrance)
- Zero Six After (2005, trance progressive)
- 2:am (2008)
Ils ont aussi participé à plusieurs pistes disponibles sur des compilations de psytrance (trance psychédélique), notamment sous le label Yellow Sunshine Explosion.
Sur scène, le duo utilise Ableton Live 5 sur ordinateur portable Apple Powerbook G4 ainsi que différentes machines (M-audio Firewire 410, Mackie 1604 VLZ, Novation Nova, Access Virus B, Evolution UC-33e) et divers effets stéréo numériques.[1]
