Thunder est un groupe de hard-rock britannique, formé en 1989.

En 1989, suite à la séparation de leur groupe Terraplane, le guitariste Luke Morley et le chanteur Danny Bowes ont formé le groupe Thunder, avec le batteur Gary 'Harry' James, le bassiste Mark 'Snake' Luckhurst et le guitariste & claviériste Ben Matthews. Leur premier album Backstreet Symphony fut produit par Andy Taylor du groupe Duran Duran.
