Head composed of about 50 penises. "A Renaissance joke reflecting contemporary ideas about sexual explicitness in the writings of Pietro Aretino and others."
Words on the Scroll (from rigth to left):OGNI HOMO ME GUARDA COME FOSSE UNA TESTA DE CAZI (en. "every man looks at me as if I were a head of dicks")
On the backside: 1536 El breve dentro voi legerite Come i giudei se intender el vorite (en. "If you want to understand the meaning, you will be able to read the text like the Jews do") Jews read from right to left
prefigures the work of the painter Giuseppe Arcimboldo, but is not from him

Kopf, gebildet aus etwa 50 Penisen. "Ein Scherz aus der Renaissance, welcher auf zeitgenössische Ideen über sexuelle Deutlichkeit in den Schriften von Pietro Aretino und anderen Bezug nimmt."

Auf der Rückseite steht: 1536 El breve dentro voi legerite Come i giudei se intender el vorite (en. "Wenn du den Sinn verstehen willst, wirst du imstande sein den Text so zu lesen, wie es die Juden tun.") Hebräisch wird von rechts nach links gelesen.
Ähnelt den Arbeiten von Giuseppe Arcimboldo, ist aber nicht von ihm.
