Bot flag has been requested on 7/11. As far as I know, bot edits are allowed at slow rates as you say. On a wiki as busy as fr:, I wouldn't call 1 edit/min polluting RC, btw. Cheers! Siebrand 11 avril 2007 à 20:06 (CEST)

Hello,

I've been trying to do some cleanop of interwikis on en:Admiralty and en:Admiralty (disambiguation), but the bot keeps undoing the changes. The problem is that the Enlgish wiki presumes Admiralty to mean the British Admiralty (so does it), while many others see it as a disambiguation (ex. es, fr, nl, de, sv, no, uk) and may or may not have separate pages for the British one. More specifically (i'm having some trouble keeping all the pages in all the languages straight), Siebot re-added several erroneous interwikis to Amirauté (britannique), which point to pages that are in fact disambiguation or general pages, and correspond to Amirauté. --Steve-Mtl 19 avril 2007 à 18:51 (CEST)

The bot will just add all links it can resolve succesfully. The bot (not any interwikibot) cannot see if it is correct (bs in == bs out). You have obviously managed to correct some instances, but to make the bots stop putting the bad links back, you have to change it everywhere... Vous qui etes néerlandais j'aimerais votre avis sur le cas ci dessus: C'est un peintre inconnu en france mais qui est connu dans toute l'Inde. Pour faire votre idée j'aimerais que vous fassiez le google test sur google.com et non sur google.fr. Beaucoup de commentaires viennent du fait de son nom, et vois une pub. Juste pour info, cet artiste a un site en anglais , son agent est en Inde, il est couvert de presse indienne pas des quart de pages ,des 4/4 , il a fait N... expositions. effectivement ce n'est pas l'Avenue Montaigne mais il n'y a pas d'Avenue Montaigne ...à Calcutta. Ce mec a décoré des temples en Inde et commence juste à exposer depuis quelques années....L'argumentaire de certains est qu c'est un mauvais, puisqu'il n'est pas dans ARTPRice ....mais artprice est un releve des adjudications.J'aimerais votre opinion...ovc 7 octobre 2007 à 14:35 (CEST) Mon anagramme est OVC , mais n'a aucun rapport avev le Olaf van Cleef...je suis céramiste et comme on m'a toujours dit que j'avais un gout de chiottes...c'est ce que j'ai trouvé de plus décalé.
