Screaming for vengeance est le huitième album studio de Judas Priest. Sorti en 1982, il marque un nouveau tournant pour le groupe. Après British steel sorti en 1980 et Point of Entry en 81 sur ce nouvel opus on peut remarquer des chansons percutantes. Certaines resteront des classiques du groupe comme The Hellion/Electrick Eyes, Riding On The Wind, Bloodstone, You've Got Another Thing Comin et Devil's child.
