Robert William Service (né le 16 janvier 1874 à Preston, décédé le 11 septembre 1958 à Lancieux) est un poète britannique, particulièrement connu pour ses écrits concernant le Canada.
Il est né dans une famille écossaise séjournant en Angleterre, fit ses études à Glasgow puis, à 21 ans, il partit au Canada où il travailla dans le secteur bancaire.
Il a été séduit par la Bretagne et plus particulièrement par la côte autour de Lancieux. En 1913, il y acheta une maison, sur la falaise, qu'il nomma Dream Heaven. Il fit de nombreux séjours, particulièrement l'été. Il y est décédé et est enterré dans le cimetière de cette commune.
