Man erkennt die feinkörnige rötliche Grundmasse. Darin befinden sich Einsprenglinge aus Kalifeldspat (rosa) und aus Quarz. Letztere erscheinen wegen der umgebenden Grundmasse dunkel, sind aber eigentlich farblos.
