Pachydactylus vanzyli est une espèce nocturne de geckos.
Cette espèce était précédemment classée en tant que Palmatogecko vanzyli. Le genre correspondant (Palmatogecko) n'existe plus, les deux espèces qu'il contenait ayant été déplacées.

Ce lézard se rencontre en Namibie (au sud du désert) et au sud de l'Angola.
