Muddy Waters est le 3e album solo de Redman, sorti en 1996 chez Def Jam. L'album a reçu de très bonnes critiques après les impressions partagées sur son précédent LP, Dare Iz a Darkside.
Le 1er single "It's Like That (My Big Brother)" ainsi que le 2e ("Whateva Man" avec Method Man) se classent respectivement 95e et 42e au Billboard Hot 100. L'album se classe 12e au Billboard 200 et 1er au classement des albums Hip-Hop/R'n'B de 1996.
Le 12 février 1997, l'album est certifié disque d'or par la RIAA.
