العربية: هذه الصورة بالأسعة تحت الحمراء من تلسكوب ناسا تظهر مئات الآلاف من النجوم منضغطة في قلب مجرتنا درب التبانة. في الصور بالضوء المرئي، هذه المنطقة لا يمكن رؤيتها على الإطلاق لأن الغبار بين الأرض و مركز المجرة يحجب الرؤية.
English: "This dazzling infrared image from NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope shows hundreds of thousands of stars crowded into the swirling core of our spiral Milky Way galaxy. In visible-light pictures, this region cannot be seen at all because dust lying between Earth and the galactic center blocks our view."
Image downscaled (2x) from original. Français : Cœur de la voie lactée vu en infra-rouge par le téléscope spatial Spitzer de la NASA. Dans cette zone des centaines de milliers d'étoiles gravitent autour du centre galactique. En lumière visible, cette région n'est pas visible car elle est cachée par une grande quantité de poussière interstellaire.
