John Digweed est né le 1^er janvier 1967 à Hastings, Angleterre. C'est un DJ producteur qui à popularisé le style Progressive avec son ami DJ Sasha (DJ Alexander Coe ). Il possède le label Bedrock Records avec Nick Muir.

Dj Mag en 2005 classe Digweed parmi les 10 meilleurs DJ au monde. Cette même année que le mix d'anthologie au Godskitchen Global Gathering 2005 est diffusé par Radio 1, ce mix sera très piraté sur le web.
