The original drawing of the Coat of Arms of Australia, the official symbol of Australia. The initial coat of arms was granted by King Edward VII on May 7 1908, and the current version, shown here, was granted by King George V on September 19 1912. This page was sent to the Prime Minister of Australia's department with the following note: His Excellency the Governor General directs the publication, for general information, of the enclosed certified copy of the Royal Warrant granting Armorial Ensigns and Supporters to the Commonwealth of Australia.
