Alfian bin Sa'at (Singapour 18 juillet 1977) est un écrivain, dramaturge et poète singapourien, enfant terrible de la littérature de son pays, il est connu par ses œuvres provocantes.

Il est un musulman malais d’ascendance hakka (sud de la Chine), javanaise et minangkabau (ouest de Sumatra).

Il est élève de Tampines Primary School, Raffles Institution, y Raffles Junior College. Alfian a été le président des societés de théâtre de RI et RJC et a participé aux programmes de créativité de ces organisations.

Il publie en 1998 sa première collection de poèmes, qui obtient de bonnes critiques.

[4]. Un an plus tard, son livre de comtes, Corridor, gagne le Singapore Literature Prize et est adapté pour la télévision. Ses œuvres de théâtre ont été joués en Malaisie et Singapour, il travaille pour le groupe théâtrale W!LD RICE.[5]
